Stop twiddling your thumbs and check out DoInk! (www.doink.com)
It's so easy to sign up. All you need is a username, password an email account. With a little effort, I have made Homer eat Bart's homework; no ketchup.
You could make your own avatar or animate a logo, and then, in a click, share it on Facebook, upload it to Youtube, post it on MySpace or embed it on your blog. My DoInk avatar is no crude PivotAnimation stick man... no, no, no... she looks earthly.
Here are some handy tutorials to get you started.

Web 2.0 Yahoo Blog Project
You have been hired by Yahoo magazine to develop a blog which has reviews of Web 2.0 applications by students for students. Remember to keep your identity confidential; be respectful, responsible and use “school appropriate” behavior in your socializing online.
Do NOT sign up for ANY ACCOUNTS until we have reviewed some of the rules and expectations to using these tools safely. Remember that being given this assignment does NOT give you permission to download applications.
Guidelines
For a mark of 80% your blog must include the following:
- a profile. Use your initials as your name. Do not use your full name on your blog.
- a blog title “L.E.'s Yahoo Web 2.0 Review” (for example “ L.E.'s Web 2.0 Review”)
- edit your blog Setting as:
-“Add your blog to our listings? NO”
- “Let the search engines find your blog? NO” - a definition for Web 2.0. (~ONE CLASS)
- links from your blog to other student’s Web 2.0 Review blogs
- well researched reviews on at least 2 Web 2.0 tools that are new to you. Each review should be a different post and be at least 250 words. Remember to include at least 5 links and embed 1 video in each review. These links could include application download information and tutorial links. If you include tutorial links remember to review the tutorials. (~EIGHT CLASSES)
- comment at least twice on each other student’s blog. (~TWO CLASSES)
- all sources are cited
For a project mark above 80%, you must earn bonus marks. Bonus marks will be given for doing more work that listed above. This could include your sample work!
